Ecotopia

 

On the last 9th and 12th of January, our team from the Ecotopia Project, realized several sessions of the workshop called “Ecotopia”. The workshops have been carried out by our trainees Daniela Balkova, James Wray, Maria Ionesci, Yang Xu, Paolo Chelo, Viktoriya Lazarova. They took place in “Escola Secundária Clara de Resende” of Porto. The aim of these meetings was to introduce the concepts of Renawable Energy, Green Architecture, Collaborative Participation and Sustainable Food to students and to show them how it is possible to lead the world to a greener future.

The workshop sessions took place with the students from the 10th, 11th and 12th grade. Each session presented first an introduction of the main areas of action and then a discussion in which students had to come up with practical ideas in order to help the planet. The students’ ideas have been collected and organized in special banners.
